Peek-a-boo
Micah has a habit of getting caught in his blankets, and usually gets them stuck on his head. I tried to snap a picture of him under the blanket, but he started to get a little upset so I took it off.

Peek-a-boo!Cupcakes
I learned how to decorate cupcakes at a MOPS meeting today, and before we ate them I took a few photos. They are extremely easy to make and would be cute at any party. The candy combinations are a bit weird and they look better than they tasted.
The bunny-- marshmallows cut in half dipped in sprinkles, m&ms , jellybeans, and more marshmallows.
the hamburger- vanilla cookies, choc. cookies, frosting, gum drops, another vanilla wafer, sprinkles.
the hot dog-- circus peanut, Carmel square, frosting, gumdrops. I tasted this one- Carmel and circus peanuts taste gross together!

Sweet Boy
Lemonade
Madeline and Mackenzie have been begging for us to let them have a lemonade stand, so Daddy gave in today. The girls wanted to sell their lemonade for 5 dollars a glass, but I finally convinced them 5 cents would be better. It was about 95* today so it was the perfect day for it. Unfortunately the only "customers" were mommy and daddy.

Maddy was very sad that no one came to buy lemonade.

The Park
It has been so nice out that after school I decided to take the kids for a walk to the park. I forgot how hot 85* can be. Next time we will wait till the sun goes down! The had a good time and Micah got his first experience on the slide. He's not to sure of all the sun, so I will have to get him a sun hat for next time.

6 Months old
Micah was 6 months old on Sunday. He went on Monday for his check-up and is very healthy. He weighs 20 pounds and is 27 inches long. He weighs more than his sister did at this age, and is shorter than they were. I thought I would try him out with some juice in a cup, and you can see by the pictures what he thought about that.
The Cup
I really don't want to try it
Look no hands!
I would rather throw it on the floor!

Baseball
Micah has entered the fun stage of rolling over. I put him down for a nap yesterday, and after 20 minutes of crying I went to check on him and he wasn't where I had laid him. He managed to roll up into the corner of the crib and get stuck, and after that trick he hasn't stopped rolling. He received this little soft baseball from his dadd'y work and he loves it. As you can see he always has it with him.

Mix-Match Day
It's School Spirit Week at school and today was Mix-Match day. Maddy was so excited, she picked out the clothes. Notice the shoes- she insisted on wearing two different types. Mackenzie was not to be left out and picked her clothes out too. We had a nice pancake breakfast at school and we were able to see all the crazy clothes.

Rainy Day
It has been raining for days here and so the girls have been having fun playing dress up. They were looking for the "golden treasure" which they "found" in my closet.
Ronnie and Micah enjoyed some sports on Saturday afternoon. Micah loves to watch sports on T.V.
We have a great consignment shop called the Children's Orchard that I take a lot of stuff to. I got this bouncer for $20. And I was able to find Chutes and Ladders for the girls for only $4.
They were not to happy because Mommy won. I tried to teach them good sportsmanship by having them continue until everyone "won", but Maddy said that three people can't be winners.

The Cousins
When we went to my Mom's for Christmas we took all 8 kids to Olan Mills for pictures. The very first picture was the only one that everyone was sitting still and smiling. Below you can see all eight- Baileigh, Mackenzie, Madeline, Mya, Mason, Micah, Ryleigh, and Levi. And yes it was very confusing with so many kids names starting with the letter M!
We thought it would be fun to take a head shot- it wasn't as you can see. If you look close Levi is holding the money Uncle Adam used to get him in the picture.

Pretty Pink Room
The girls bought matching pink quilts for their room with their Christmas money. They all ready had the pink curtains, and pink chairs. Not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but they had gone to get their hair cut that afternoon. I wish I had taken my camera because after about 10 minutes in the chair Mackenzie fell asleep. She was so funny. One lady held her head up while the other cut it, and every couple of minutes Mackenzie would look up and grin at them and then go back to sleep.

The reading corner, I got these cute chairs at a Sports Store for under 10 dollars.
