As I look back over the year 2006, I am amazed at how quickly the year has passed. We started the year with a major move across country, a new job, friends, Church, and a new son.
Mackenzie turned 3 this year and can not wait till she can go to school. She visits Madeline's class room everyday when we pick up Maddy, and the kids are very nice and always include her in their activities. She loves going to Cubbies on Wednesday nights.
Madeline turned 5 in August and started school. She loves K-5 and has started to learn to read. She also loves to go to Awana Sparks on Wednesdays. She has learned quite a few verses in both school and Awana.
Micah was born August 11th and is now 4 months old. He is a very easy going baby and always happy. His sisters love him and are very helpful with him.
Well that is in short what is going on with us. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Christmas Party at Daddy's Work
Tonight we had a kids Christmas Party at Ron's office. The kids had pizza, cookies, and cake. Maddy who up until the party did not believe in Santa, and kept telling me "Mom, I know it's you and Daddy that give us the presents." Well after Santa walked in she quickly changed her mind. Madeline and friend Sabina have some cake. I think they had spilled something and were both looking down at the cake on the floor.
Hello Santa!
Madeline receives her gift from Santa. She was so nervous she just kept giggling.
Mackenzie sits on Santas lap to get her gift.

Christmas Concert
Before the concert Madeline shows off her new dress. Sorry this one didn't come out very well. The K-4 and K-5 class sang Jingle Bells and Away in the Manger. They did a great job!

After the concert we went to Dairy Queen for ice cream. Madeline tells Nana and Goppy all about the show.

Super Girl
It was a no T.V. afternoon today so the girls had to use their imagination and play in the toy room. My downstairs is trashed I think every toy they have is out. Mackenzie came upstairs and asked me to tie her cape so she could be Super Girl. I had to try very hard not to laugh at her- she gladly posed for pictures though.

Thank you
I would like to thank my wonderful family for a great birthday. The girls each gave me a candle that they picked out, and the best present of all is that we get to go home to Pa for Christmas! We had a nice dinner at the Red Lobster, and then came home and played card games. I love you guys!

Harvest Party at Church
After the Picnic Fest we went to the Harvest Party at Church. We had food, games, pinatas and a lot of fun. I ran the duck pond, while Ron took the girls around to all the games.
The girls favorite game was the apple bobbing. Maddy was all girl and tried to make sure she didn't get her hair wet. While Mackenzie who is very competitive dove right in. She would not leave till she got her apple!
Bubble Gum Game
The kids were all given giant gardening gloves and then they had to open up a piece of gum and the first one to get it in their mouth was the winner. I don't let the girls chew gum very often so Maddy was determined to win. And she did- she came in first! Mackenzie had a little bit of help from Cody the Coyote who is the Edinburg minor league baseball mascot.
