Micah is a very happy boy, who loves to play with his toys. The noisier the toy is the better he likes it.

A New Home

Madeline has had quite the attitude lately and tonight was no exception. She got in trouble for something and was sent to her room. After apologizing she announced to me that she was finding a new home, I said okay why? She said that there was to much obeying in this house and she was going to a new one. I said where? She said her new home was in her closet. Of course Mackenzie was not to be left out so she said she was going to. I found them in the closet with a bunch of there stuff. They decided they would have to eat and so they came to dinner, because there new house didn't have a kitchen. I guess the old house isn't so bad after all!

Yuck

I tried to give Micah Green Beans and Rice tonight for dinner. He hated it. He made the funniest faces and I tried to capture it on camera, but every time I held the camera up he would change his face to a big grin. Every time I gave him a spoonful, he would close his eyes and gag, then open up for more.

Easter Sunday

The kids all dressed up for Easter. It was so cold this morning 40* and raining. The girls were under strict orders not to get mud on their dresses. Thankfully they didn't. After Church they got to have an egg hunt inside and then received their baskets.

Micah was more interested in his sisters eggs than the toy in his basket.

Lost Tooth

Madeline lost her first tooth tonight as she was brushing her teeth. She is so excited and anxiously awaiting the tooth fairy.

Cleaning up

Micah enjoys his confetti egg, but started to eat it so I had to take it away.

The girls had a tough time sweeping up all the confetti~ we are hoping for a lot of wind to blow it away!

Confetti Eggs

Down here in Texas there is a tradition at Easter of confetti eggs. We didn't really know what they were all about, but you see them everywhere, as people sell them by the roadside. Today I had the opportunity to make my own, and the kids got to "smash" them. After you hollow out the egg and clean it you paint and decorate it, fill it with confetti, and then glue tissue paper over the end. You are supposed to smash it on your head. We don't really get why they do it, but the girls thought it was fun.

Once upon a time.......

a boy met a girl and they fell in love and now it has been eight years and three kids later, and they live happily ever after. Happy Anniversary Ronnie!

Teeth

Micah has been sick with Strep Throat the last few days and on top of that has gotten his first two teeth. He wouldn't cooperate with the camera, but the second picture if you look real close you can see the little white bumps.

Field Trip

Today Madeline's class went on their first field trip. We went and saw a production of Pinocchio by the American Family Theater. It was a packed auditorium, but the kids were all very good and had a great time. Afterward we took them to McDonalds for lunch.



All the kids except Mackenzie posed with Finnicky fox and Candlwyck, two of the characters from the play.

The Little Gym - Part One

Today Mackenzie had her gymnastics "Show Day". We are half way through the 18 week class, so the kids were able to show their family what they have learned so far.
