early b-day party

Since Mackenzie's birthday falls after school is out, we had a little party for her at school on Friday. We had pizza and cupcakes, and she now has her own pile of the Littlest Pet shop toys to play with. Mackenzie really likes Care Bears and I couldn't find party hats so I got these Care Bear masks instead~ I told the kids to growl like a bear which they totally got into.
Friday night was the kindergarten graduation and Mackenzie's teacher had asked if she could be apart of the graduation. She sang songs and quoted some things she has learned, she was the only K-4 student to participate.

aren't I pretty

I bought the girls a bunch of headbands at Target for a 1$. Micah really liked this one and wanted to wear it, something we will have to work on- no hairbows for boys!
A good place to watch cartoons? Not sure why he likes to sit under the girls fuseball table, but this is where he chose to sit.

33 week ultrasound

I will be 33 weeks on Sunday, and Morgan's due date is now the 22nd of June. We are hoping for an induction on the 16th. As you can see she is a big girl already~ 4 1/2 pounds! All looks good and she is head down ready to go. Check out my fat cheeks and lips!

School 2008-2009

So we have joined the ranks of the homeschool crowd. Our books came in and the girls were really excited. It will be a big change for both of them as they love school, but for now this is the best decision. We will be doing the Abeka DVD program, as I don't want to lose my sanity with four kids underfoot all day!

Big shoes to fill

Micah loves shoes and if you leave them out he will try to put them on.

Micah's new toy

He loves the playground so I finally got him a little slide. It's too hot to play outside so for now it's an indoor toy. Excuse the mess in the background! Whee!
A good spot to watch cartoons
it didn't take him long to figure out how to go up the slide

Let the games begin.....

Another season of soccer has begun. Madeline is on the Killer Bees this time, she is a very fast runner, and really is enjoying playing this year.
Mackenzie is on the Purple Pandas. The coach finally got smart this year and put Mackenzie and her friend Trista in at separate times. Mackenzie also loves to run, and is getting more aggressive. The 4's and 5's are the most fun to watch, most of them have a hard time with running and kicking the ball, but they are great entertainment.
Mackenzie is #3

Dolphin Watch

On Friday we went on a field trip to South Padre Island for a Dolphin Watch tour. We were able to take a boat ride for about an hour and we were really lucky to see quite a few dolphins. Mackenzie really loved the boat ride, and was very excited to eat her lunch on the boat.View from the back of the boat, the water was a little choppy at times, but thankfully it wasn't to warm out.
The only picture I could get of a dolphin
Loving being on the water
Some weird sea life the kids wanted to touch.

Field Trip

We also visited a hands on exhibit where they were able to hold all kinds of strange sea life.

Maddy and the starfish
Mackenzie and the sea cucumber- it looked really gross, but she wanted to hold everything.

Dare Devil

Micah really wanted to play fuse ball, and tried his hardest to get the ball out from the hole. He later fell off and hopefully learned his lesson.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Micah has been all boy lately, keeping me very busy. Yesterday he fell head first down the stairs (16 in all), he has a little carpet burn on his face. Today he got out a box of vanilla wafers and dumped the whole box out, which I then gave him a lesson in cleaning up after himself.
First you throw them away
then you vacuum them up
and after you throw your lunch on the floor you have to sweep it up! Mom can't wait for my nap time today!

Easter

I had bought these dresses and found a matching outfit for Morgan, but the girls decided they couldn't wait for her to be born so they wore these last week for Church. Happy Easter!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Since it was spring break we decided to go to San Antonio for a few days. We of course went to Chipotle twice to eat (sad that we have to drive 4 hours to eat good food) We also decided to try Six flags Fiesta Texas. I do not recommend being 7 months pregnant and going to an amusement park. First it is so much walking, you can't ride anything, and naturally I got sunburned! But the rest of them had fun. Micah was trying his hardest to touch Pepe La Pu without having to get too close. Micah so wanted to drive, but they said he was too little, as soon as they got out of eye sight Ron switched places with him.
the girls favorite ride
Waiting a long time for the cars, at one point I think Micah was in a headlock with his daddy- he didn't want to wait his turn and kept running away.
Driving in the pink car

Six Flags Fiesta Texas

The train ride~ the only thing I was allowed to ride on. Ron was really good about taking the kids on the rides, normally I get to ride everything with them. A favorite of Micah's he loves to say horse!
