Can we keep him?

The girls went bike riding this morning and this kitty followed them for about 1/2 a mile all the way home. We fed him and the kids really want to keep him, they have named him Tanner, and have played outside all day with him.

and she screamed when we took it away!

Family night

Friday nights is Family night and we decided to go to the park- even though it was 98 outside at 6 in the evening! The kids love the park and I love how tired they are afterward!

Strange little boy

I went to check on Micah who was supposed to be in bed sleeping and I found him playing instead. When I asked him what he was doing he said, I be very quiet. He had lined up all his books and was putting toys in categories, all the Dino's in one pile, cars in another. He had also found some old tape and packing stickers and had them proudly on his head. I know the OCD comes from me, but the weirdness must come from his father!

Double Trouble

I was upstairs helping the girls with school when I noticed it was strangely quiet downstairs. I ran downstairs and could hear laughter coming from my room. The little stinkers had locked the door. When I got in I found Micah and Morgan in the bathroom playing. Micah had gotten in our shower and was playing peek-a-boo with Morgan. She was laughing so hard, and trying to figure out why she could see her brother but not touch him. I have a feeling I am going to have to keep a close eye on these two!

Let the fun begin.....

Morgan decided on Friday that it was no fun just watching the kids play, so she started crawling, and now the fun begins because nothing is safe from her little hands. I thought her big legs would slow her down, but no, she is very fast!

Morgan fell asleep sitting up after a long day at the museum- they had a children's art and book festival at the museum and the main exhibit was "Grossology" all about how the body functions, the kids really liked going in the "nose" and seeing how the body makes stuff such as burps, gas etc. The kids all got to choose a free book- Micah was able to get a dinosaur book that I have been searching for for along time. Grumpy Micah

Micah taking a nap on the floor- ever since we changed his crib to a bed he hates sleeping in it. Every day it's a different spot on the floor for nap time, and at night he gets up and gets in bed with us!

Morgan 8 months

Sweet girl- playing with her big sisters toys is so much fun! she is becoming mobile and getting into every one's things. Morgan loves to say the one and only word she can- DADA!

Family night

Maddy wanted to start having Family night once a week, and this week we got out the puzzle she received for Christmas. The puzzle has 550 small pieces, it's gonna take awhile! Morgan had to sit in the living room and play, which she loves to sit and play by herself.

Micah was not happy, because we weren't letting him help, after standing up on the table and hitting his head on the light, which broke the light bulb, he ended up going to bed, so much for family night!

The start of the puzzle- I will post a picture of the final product- whenever that maybe.

Monkeying around

We have been going to the park alot lately, the girls have been working on the monkey bars, and after alot of tears ( they are very competitive), and some blisters, they have finally accomplished the bars.

Morgan Faith at 7 months

Can you believe she is 7 months old~ she loves to sit and play, especially with anyone willing to sit and share with her. Mackenzie always wants in on the picture taking.

If you look real close you can see she is getting 2 bottom teeth!

A very long week

Micah decided to learn how to jump out of his crib, and so I decided it was time for a real big boy bed. It only took him an hour of getting up and down before he fell asleep on his floor. All the kids have been sick the last week and I have spent more money on medicine than I ever want to spend again.

The princess will stay awake all day and as soon as daddy gets home and holds her she falls fast asleep.

At her 6 month check up she weighed 20 .4 pounds and is 27 inches tall. She is in the 95% for her weight and the 90% for her height. She is starting to try to crawl going backward and loves to say Dada- especially at 6 a.m.

Out of the mouths of Babes...

My husband said to me the other night in front of the kids~" Wow, you look hot!" to which Maddy said no she doesn't daddy, and he said yeah your mom's hot! Maddy said no she isn't -she's not sweaty!

Morgan 6 months

Morgan is already six months old. Time sure has flown. She is a sweet heart, very smiley and laid back. She started saying Dada this week and is rolling around everywhere. She is officially in a big carseat, the infant carrier was starting to buckle under all her weight. She goes Monday to the Dr. so I will post her weight etc, then. I know she tops the charts there. She loves her new high chair, and loves her brother and sisters. I bought her a bumbo chair but she got stuck in it ( she's got some lovely thighs) so to ebay that will go. A great spot to watch Monsters Inc.
