Swimming

Today at the pool they had a big party for all the kids to celebrate the end of school. They had lots of food and gave away prizes. We ended up winning a Shrek doll, which we will probably end up giving away since we aren't into Shrek. It was Micah's first time at the pool. He did not like it when I put him in the baby part- I think there were too many kids splashing, but he loved floating around with Daddy. Also on the way out of the pool Maddy lost her second tooth! I don't know why she always looses her teeth when the tooth fairy has no cash on hand!

Update- both girls got there first sun burn- they jumped into the pool before I had a chance to apply lotion and I really should have. It will be a long night.

Peter Pan

This is how I found the girls yesterday as I came downstairs. They had been playing Peter Pan- they were using my spanking spoons as swords!

1. I broke my jaw when I was five years old, after falling head first down some stairs. I had to have my mouth wired shut, and could only eat through a straw.

2. Because of the broken jaw I had to repeat kindergarten!

4.I have Arachnophobia--I have almost wrecked the car because of a spider.

Graduation- Class of 2019

On Friday night my baby graduated from Kindergarten. I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. They each received their diploma and a beautiful Bible from the Pastor and their Teacher- Mrs. Harris.

Little Bo Peep

Madeline's class put on a play "Little Bo Peep" for graduation. Madeline was Little Miss Muffet. It was a cute play and all the kids did a great job! Below is Little Miss Muffet and the Spider.

Sea World

After Graduation we left for a few days in San Antonio. We went to Sea World on Saturday and Sunday and had a wonderful time. The weather wasn't too hot and on Sunday we did all the water rides and were soaked. The show Believe was our favorite as we were able to see Shamu.

Gymnastics Show

Mackenzie finished her 20 week class at the Little Gym on Tuesday. The class put on a show of all the things they have learned. Mackenzie loves Gymnastics!

Rice Crispy Treats

Mackenzie wanted to make Rice Crispy Treats today, so I let her make them all by herself. All I had to do was supervise her by the stove. She really loves to help in the kitchen and had a blast! Melting the marshmallows

Awana Olympics

Today Madeline had the Sparks Awana Olympics. It was alot of fun and the kids had a good time. We had five Sparks from our Church compete and they came in Third place.

The Lord Protects

Last night we put the kids to bed at eight and I went to check on everyone a little after ten before I went to bed. As I was checking on the girls I had a "feeling" that something wasn't right as I went to turn off there night light. As I reached to turn off the light I looked into the night light and happened to notice something inside. Apparently Madeline had taken a bunch of Saran Wrap and stuffed it inside the light. I quickly grabbed it out and it was very hot. We are so glad that the Lord is always watching out for us. I hate to think about what could have happened if I didn't see that.

GOOD NEWS

This evening as Madeline was getting ready for bed she told her Daddy that she wanted to ask Jesus in her heart. So Ron called me upstairs and after questioning her to see if she truly understood, Ron was able to lead Maddy to Christ. She is so excited, she called her Nana and Goppy and Aunt to tell them she asked Jesus as her Saviour!

The Pacifier Dilema

A few months ago, I picked up a pack of pacifiers that were on a clearance rack in Target. I never imagined Micah would love the paci so much, as the girls never bothered with them. Micah absolutely loves his paci- but he only like one particular type. I have looked everywhere for this paci, because we are down to one, and I have bought three different types and he just spits them out. So I searched online to see what exaclty the brand is, it's the Nuk Starlight. And I have resorted to buying his paci on Ebay. I bought a couple and am hoping they arrive soon. I have discovered that Micah is extremely picky. He will only eat Sweet Potatoes and his Fruit, all other baby food he gags on to the point of throwing up. Any suggestions for my picky eater?

Happy Boy

Micah is a very happy boy, who loves to play with his toys. The noisier the toy is the better he likes it.

A New Home

Madeline has had quite the attitude lately and tonight was no exception. She got in trouble for something and was sent to her room. After apologizing she announced to me that she was finding a new home, I said okay why? She said that there was to much obeying in this house and she was going to a new one. I said where? She said her new home was in her closet. Of course Mackenzie was not to be left out so she said she was going to. I found them in the closet with a bunch of there stuff. They decided they would have to eat and so they came to dinner, because there new house didn't have a kitchen. I guess the old house isn't so bad after all!

Yuck

I tried to give Micah Green Beans and Rice tonight for dinner. He hated it. He made the funniest faces and I tried to capture it on camera, but every time I held the camera up he would change his face to a big grin. Every time I gave him a spoonful, he would close his eyes and gag, then open up for more.
